Sermon: Lately I’ve been working my way through Rosaria Butterfield’s book Five Lies of our Anti-Christian Age. I picked it up in part because of this Q&A she participated in at the Ligonier conference I attended a couple weeks back. In my opinion, she is one of the clearest-minded and plainest spoken voices on human sexuality in the church today, and I really appreciate her. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did.


Catechism: Why was it necessary for Christ the Redeemer to die?


Song: If you’ve ever heard of Phil Keaggy you probably know him better than I, but I stumbled upon this song and in a simple way it reminded me of the theme of the third verse of The Church’s One Foundation-the struggles of the church. But when we see how much Christ loves the church our weaknesses are brought into to right perspective. Jesus loves us. He sanctifies us. – Clark
