Sermon: “Payday Someday” is one of the more famous sermons in American history, though most of us have never heard of it or the Southern Baptist preacher, Robert G. Lee. There’s something about the setting – the old wooden pulpit and the stained glass behind it – that’s reminiscent of Lewis Lake in years gone by. The video is old and grainy, but the truth of the Gospel never goes out of style. 

Catechism: Since we are redeemed by grace alone, through faith alone, where does this faith come from?

Song: Our salvation is from the Lord! There is no one that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:37-39). We’re more than conquerors, implying that it’s not only about victory over sin for our personal salvation but for God’s glory made to shine forth through Christ in us bringing glory to the Father!
