Sermon: I’ve recommended this series in years past, and I’ll do it again in years to come. This is a seminary course taught by Tom Schreiner. Both Pastor Bob and I studied under Dr. Schreiner – he at Bethel Seminary in the 90’s, me at Southern Seminary in more recent years. It’s a seminary class, so it’s kinda academic, and some of it is a little challenging. But if you stick with it, you’ll end up with a really good understanding of the biblical story and how all the books work together. I’ve listened to the whole series at least twice, and will again. It’s just really, really good.

Catechism: How and why did God create us?

Songs from Clark: This week I have Psalm 134 set in a 3-part round. Not something we see everyday.

Here’s a different setting sung so beautifully.

And finally, as we face trials, as we’ve been reminded in Rev. 6 that we will, James reminds us to count it all joy. Happy counting!
